In June 2023, award winning consultancy HTA Design were appointed to lead a project team to develop proposals for two areas of Crystal Palace Park as part of the Regeneration Plan: the Tidal Lakes and the Italian Terraces.
We are pleased to now share updated ideas for these two sites which can be viewed here:
The latest plans include ideas around a new dinosaur-themed play area, a heritage trail, a new-look information centre, and restoration to the Dinosaurs and Italian Terraces.
We would welcome your feedback and comments on these plans and invite you to complete our feedback form. Feedback received will be used to inform the ongoing development of designs.
The next steps for the project are for us to submit detailed proposals to the Bromley Planning Office at the end of January 2024 to gain full approval ahead of the commencement on site. We will also be submitting a Round 2 application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund in May 2024 to secure the full £5m grant.
